Sister Knapper has been a Life Member of the Ladies Auxiliary to VFW Post #1772 and of the National Home since 1997. She was elected President of her Auxiliary the same year she joined and held that office until 2004. Knapper progressed through the District chairs all the way to Department President. She also served on many Department Committees. Knapper has received training to assist families and victims who have had server trauma, as well as training in organizational and listening skills. She serves as a Trauma Intervention Volunteer with VICTIMS, Inc.
Knapper is currently a member of the Policy & Bylaws Committee and the Facilities Committee.
