Sister Crawford joined the Ladies Auxiliary under her husband who served in the U.S. Navy in Korea. A Life Member of Auxiliary #9738, she has held many elected and appointed positions including Auxiliary President five times, District President four times, Department President and currently starting her 11th year as Auxiliary Secretary. She stated that her first Auxiliary chairmanship was for the VFW National Home for Children which she held for 12 years and developed a very strong connection to the purpose of the Home. All of her endorsements echo her love, dedication and promotion of the Home and her belief in the need to care for the children and families of our veterans. |
