Dorothy Verrill, Missouri

Term: 2004-2010

Life Member since: 1986

Sister Dorothy Verrill currently chairs the VFW National Home for Children’s Program committee. In addition, she sits on the Public Relations/Communication Committee.

Verrill has visited the National Home many times while her son and grandsons were residents in the Single Parent Family Program.  During this time, she became very interested in the ways the National Home is helping children and families.

Verill is a member of the Cass County Ladies Auxiliary #4409. Her husband, Philip Verrill, is a twenty-five year veteran. As a Life Member of the Ladies Auxiliary, she has held all offices on the local and district levels as well as serving as Department National Home Chairman for two years.

Verrill became a member of the Military Order of the Cootie in 1985, where she also served in all local and Grand offices.  She is currently the National Home Chairman for her District and local Auxiliary.
