Sister Peto was appointed by the Board of Trustees until October 2010 to fill a Board vacancy. Peto has been a Life Member since: 1990
Cynthia Peto currently sits on the VFW National Home for Children’s Development and Program Committees.
Peto of Perry, Michigan served as the Department of Michigan Ladies Auxiliary President, Veterans and Family Support Chairman and Department Chief of Staff in the past. Currently, she is the Department’s Events Chairman.
In addition, she has served on the VFW Ladies Auxiliary National Council of Administration, representing the states of Michigan and South Dakota, and spent a year as National Community Service Director for the Ladies Auxiliary.
As a member of the Maple City Ladies Auxiliary #2406 for more than 30 years, Peto has served in numerous capacities at the local level, including Auxiliary President, Auxiliary Secretary and other positions.
In her spare time, Peto enjoys flower-arranging, crossword puzzles, reading, traveling and spending time with her family. Peto and her husband have six children and five grandchildren. |
