The VFW National Home for Children is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization supported solely by contributions from private individuals and organizations. You can give with confidence knowing the Natonal Home meets BBB Wise Giving standards.

The VFW National Home for Children is pleased to display this seal of approval from the Better Business Bureau Wise Giving Alliance, confirming that we meet the Alliance’s Standards for Charity Accountability. The BBB Wise Giving Alliance, the nation’s most experienced charity evaluator, carefully evaluates each charity before they can even apply to use the seal. Factors like the charity’s governance, effectiveness, finances, solicitations and informational materials are all taken into consideration.

Only organizations that come through an Alliance review with a “meets standards” conclusion are eligible to participate in the seal program. Participation is voluntary, but more and more charities report that the seal gives them an efficient way of demonstrating their commitment to accountability and ethical practices, the values that donors are seeking. This commitment is all the more credible when it is verified by the familiar and respected BBB Wise Giving Alliance.
