Residential Program
Veterans’ children who need a place to live, learn and grow will find a loving and supportive environment at the VFW National Home for Children. In our state-licensed Residential Program, children may live at the National Home their entire childhood through college, but a family member always retains guardianship.

On the ground:
Lindsey came to the National Home at the age of 10, when her guardian decided the National Home would provide the greatest stability and opportunity for a happy childhood. Lindsey was able to maintain her relationship with her guardian and develop new relationships at the National Home. She graduated from high school and is now attending college with financial assistance from the National Home.
