Thanks to the generous spirit of the many individuals and organizations who support the VFW National Home for Children, we are able to continue to serve as a living memorial to America’s veterans by helping our nation’s veteran and military families. Your donations make it possible for us to serve:
- Children and families of deployed military personnel;
- Disabled veterans keeping their families whole while in vocational rehabilitation;
- Single-parent families in crisis; and
- Children who need a loving home.
At the VFW National Home for Children, we honor our donors for their dedication and commitment to our mission in a variety of ways.
Through our Star Donor program, we recognize individuals and organizations for their generosity to the National Home in a single year.
Individuals who show a sustained commitment to supporting our mission become a member of our Five Points Family.
Posts and Auxiliaries whose members have shown a strong commitment to the National Home through our Life Membership program are eligible for Life Membership Awards. And VFW and Ladies Auxiliary Departments that do an exceptional job of recruiting new Life Members in a given year are honored with our Department Awards.
